To become an authorized driver for the State of Arizona, you must successfully complete the following driving courses:

All Authorized Drivers:

  1. RM29  Defensive Driving - Computer Based Online Training

Large Passenger Vans (9-15 passenger vehicles):

  2. VAN101INTR Van Dynamics - Computer Based Online Training
  3. VAN102BW Behind the Wheel for Vans - Computer Based Online Training

Other Speciality Vehicles:

  1. RM29  Defensive Driving - Computer Based Online Training
  2. DD200GC-01 Golf/Utility Cart - Computer Based Online Training

Note: As of June 3, 2021 the Golf/Utility Cart Behind the Wheel Skills Test is no longer a requirement to drive a golf cart/utility vehicle on state business, however, your Agency should consider implementing specific testing when the environment and/or utilization deems it necessary."

Effective November 1, 2021

After the procurement of hundreds of safety-related training videos and safety shorts (toolbox talks) by the State Risk Management office through Safetycare, the decision was made to sunset two of our own previously created courses. These Safetycare videos are made available through TraCorp to all state employees.
