State Driving

To become an authorized driver for State of Arizona Agencies, Boards & Commissions, and Universities you must successfully complete the following courses:

All Authorized Drivers:
  1. RM29, Authorized State Driving - Computer-based Training

Large Passenger Vans (9-15 passenger vehicles):
  1. RM29, Authorized State Driving - Computer-based Training

  2. VAN101INTR, Van Dynamics - Computer-based  Training

  3. VAN102BW, Van Behind the Wheel Skills Supervised Ride Along Evaluation - Classroom Training

Other Speciality Vehicles:
  1. RM29, Authorized State Driving - Computer-based Training

  2. DD200GC-01, Specialty Vehicle Driving (aka Golf/Utility Carts) - Computer-based Training

Note:  Agencies should consider implementing specialized vehicle testing when the environment and/or utilization deems it necessary.

Safety Training Video Courses

State Risk Management has procured an online video library service with more than 100 training videos covering a wide variety of safety topics (topics including COVID, ergonomics, hazard identification, and more!) 

  • Each course number begins with ADRISK

Now available online at no cost through ADEQ. "The online courses are self-paced, cover Arizona-specific information, and include an exam and certificate of completion."
